I saw one at a local dealer and gave it a Test Drive, the problem is the price tag ... For the same price I could have bought that M5 that's been staring at me for the past 3 months

+1. They obviously want to be seen as the goody-2 shoes who "care about the environment." Its a simple case of self-promotion. Me? If I absolutely had to drive an electric car, I wouldn't even consider the Volt. The Fisker Karma and electric RR Phantom are top of the list.
