Al-Qaida Leader Rejected Building Truck Of Death As Indiscriminate?
Osama bin Laden was a conspiracy theorist who twisted religion to justify mass murder. But even he thought constructing a monster truck of doom crossed a certain line of taste.

Information is just starting to trickle out of the huge tranche of hard drives, removable media, voice recorders and notebooks the Navy SEALs harvested from bin Laden’s Abbottabad compound. As a multi-agency intelligence task force sifts through the info, bin Laden preliminarily appears like a commander who gives “fairly generic, broad instructions” to al-Qaida, a senior U.S. official told the Washington Post, attempting to keep al-Qaida focused on attacking the U.S. and Europe.

I'm sure OBL thought it was tasteless on pick-ups - probably preferred BMW's.

Question? Which president brought OBL to justice?

There were two that accomplished the feat.

The one who laid the ground work and the one that has the guts to approve the action. Neither one could have done it without the other.

Can either of you guys bring yourself to say that Obama did a good job?

"I'd say it was Bush that brought Osama to justice"

- Keep living on that island. If Bush could have brought OBL to justice he would have done it in the 7-years he had available. And the method in which the attack was carried out was 100% Obama. He made the decision, not Bush. Why is it so hard for some folks to give Obama credit? Instead you give Bush the credit. What a joke.

sportsbike80,

Stop watching Fox News. If bush were still president OBL would still be alive.

"waterboarding"?

- You mean war crimes? Maybe it's me, but I would expect the U.S.A to not act like NAZI Germany. I thought we were better than that. Guess not.

I say both are retarded, one for getting into wars, and the other for continuing them. And who gets it? The poor civilians.

- Agreed, But you'll only find people here calling one of them retarded.

009, like it or not, Obama put the investigation and operation together and our soldiers carried it out. Give the man credit! I am not an obama lover but regardless he did a good job.

There doesn't appear to have been any rush to attack, and they waited until the time was right to pounce.

In this case Obama had the patience and the bravery to make the correct decision. It was a job well done.

:) Great!!! And I thought that you were unreasonable. Glad I was wrong. Now lets see what sportbike80 has to say.

But to be fair, Bush did say that he didn't care about catching OBL.

You're still not willing to give Obama any credit? Why is that? You are a piece of work.

"And, again, I don't know where he [Osama Bin Laden] is. I — I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him."
