STaSIS Audi R8 V8 Challenge Extreme Edition

The American tuner STaSIS Engineering has unveiled a special edition of the Audi R8 V8 equipped with a supercharger and a lot of go-fast modifications.

For starters, the company bolted to an Eaton / Magnusson TVS 1900 blower 7.5 psi boost. Combine that with an independent duty cooling system and an ECU remap, and you have an R8 V10 produces 540 horsepower and 435 pounds-feet of torque.

A race exhaust with an ecu tune should yield that much over stock easily. I really do not understand people who buy a forced induction system that robs power to make power.

But isn't the V8 already equipped with a stock supercharger from the RS series? I'm confused.
