Why Does God HATE Ferrari 458 Italias?
I still can't figure out why but someone out there really hates the Ferrari 458 Italia. Although the car was only introduced last year, it seems that there are plenty in scrap yards. It's almost a semi-monthly occurrence that we see pictures and video of a busted-up 458. Either that or we see its charred, smoldering remains.

And it's not like Ferrari is cranking these vehicles out like the Federal Reserve prints money.

At this rate how long will it take before all 458s are "killed?"

As you can see from our cover shot, yet another Ferrari was sent to heaven after meeting the back end of a truck. Miraculously, the driver was unharmed.

The following car crash happened in the UK. The wrecked Ferrari 458 Italia shown on the pictures crashed into a truck. The exact cause of the accident was unknown but the fire department had to cut the roof off the brand new Ferrari 458 Italia to free the driver from his unlucky position. Luckily the driver survived...

Because of the weird styling?

PS: God sure is a bad boy, huh? Lightning bolts, tsunamies, and now, flaming Ferraris.

Exactly!
Why are the idiots here blaming the car when the blame should be placed on these dicks who can't drive anything with more power then a Yugo?

The performance capabilites of cars these days are far exceeding the ability of people to drive them and while the technology and perfomance continues to advance, the mentality of the driver hasn't. Bad combination.

Anyone actually read the article?
This stuff happens when you have an aneurysm while driving. Same could have happened in the Yugo discussed above.

Ferrari has been around forever, and I don't remember when the last time there were this many incidents with a new Ferrari. Given the fact that the new Italia was just released last year, and as a result there are not that many out there, there sure are a lot of crashes and fires associated with such a small number of Italias in existence. Therefore, I believe that this question is valid, and there should be an investigation into the new Italia and its mechanics, or what I suspect is the culprit, its electronics.

They need to solve any issue with the Italia before I get myself one next. It is truly a wonderful, beautiful car.
