VIDEO: Top Gear On Camera While Filming Electric Cars
Well, I hope this doesn't spoil Top Gear's next season too much.
It appears that James May and the infamous Jeremy Clarkson have been spotted in the UK while filming a segment for the next season of Top Gear. With the prevalence of electric vehicles, you had to see something like this coming.
Although after the whole Tesla trying to sue the BBC, you'd think the producers would be a bit more careful when doing a piece on an electric vehicle.
Would you agree/disagree that after watching this bit, it's pretty clear that Top Gear is unfairly targeting electric vehicles?

I would not want a full electric only vehicle just for this reason, maybe for a city commuter? That is if I could afford both vehicles.

In colder parts of the world (insert Canada), there are lots of outlets that were installed in parking lots for block heaters.

Sure, with a gas car you just bring a shovel and start digging for your oil anywhere you like.

People still don't get the point of Top Gear. There are certain recurring themes in the show that count to making it the ENTERTAINMENT that it is. The show makes fun of Austin Marinas (dropping pianos on them at every opportunity), caravans (crashing and dropping them from high places, to setting one on fire), they generally profess to hate diesels and they think Hondas are boring. They are merely adding electric cars to their fun list because people and Tesla are being bitches about it. The presenters are only putting up the proverbial middle finger to those who see it fit to complain. Way to go guys!
