PHOTOS AND PRICING: First look at the Mercedes-Benz CL AMG Sport

It's been approximately one day, nineteen hours, fifteen minutes and thirty-three seconds since we've mentioned the 2007, getting sexier every time I see it, Mercedes CL-Class; but thanks to an omniscient reader who graciously took the time and effort to bestow us with a few tidbits of never-before heard Mercedes info, that drought is about to end.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is because this reader sent us the first official photographs of what is an undeniably-beautiful vehicle - the 2007 Mercedes CL-Class equipped with an AMG sport package. The wheels... the front apron... the side skirts... they're all so... ravishing.

who says its undeniably beautiful?
if more than one person thinks its ugly, then surely it can be denied!

for the record I think the car is uninspired, bordering on ugly, and a poor follow-up to the current georgeous design

There are a few areas of this pic which looked photoshoped. But I must say this angle portrays the car perfectly nice. It has really nice forms and proportion.

I am sure this like all the other merc Designs will grow over time and at the end of its cycle people will love it. These are not one hit wonders but are more of a time tested design which just grows on you.

I agree front is great but the rear is EQUALLY hideous,ugly,plain and bulky.Instead of it's own rear if MB had slapped the S Class's rear to it,i would have liked it.

That's why i am not giving it an edge over the 6 series,because both car's designers had overly styled them especially the rear.

Therefore an average looking Luxury Coupe.

Please don't even start to bring the 6 series in this, cause the 6 will melt infront of this CL, I swear some people just need to get off BMW's D***. This CL is on the money, that car is NUTS! Take that 6 series and DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT.

Merc has done it again. Nice thats 3 money new designs in a row. CLS, S, and now CL. Can't wait for a new C. (mind you I speak nothing of SUV's so if you want to argue those 3 designs thats fine but don't argue the ML, GL, or R)
