New York City Says No More Hybrid Lexus Taxis?
When they see each other on the streets of New York, they often honk, wave, flash their lights and sometimes even stop to trade maintenance advice. The camaraderie is owed to a shared experience: each drives a Lexus as a New York City taxi.

What a great story (if you are a NYT subscriber). BTW, that's a Ford Escape hybrid in that pic.

I visit Autospies every morning, except Saturdays and Sundays. I stated being a fan since I was in service back in 2002(NAVY, North Island, Coronado). Back then Autospies was known for one very unique factor: spying of upcoming unreleased vehicles. I used to love the site so much, i turned some of my family and friends into fans also... most have left due to the vast changes which have nothing to do with Spying. I think i only visit now because of that bookmark on the top of my screen that reminds me of it. most of my visits, now a days I don't open any articles because the majority of them SUCK (like this one).
I love cars. I need to read smart car news, or intriguing such as spy news. I am getting ready to delete the Autospies bookmark on the top of my screen and that sucks too.

Well we all know why it cost $40 to ride 2 miles in one.
