SPIED: FIRST Images Of The 2012 Alpina B6 Caught In Germany
Well, it didn't take too long for Alpina to get to work on its very own 6-Series, did it?

Alpina, which has been doing extensive tuning work on BMW products for years, has always been a go-to aftermarket tuner for the brand. Hell, BMW has even been so enthused about its work, BMW has even brought the U.S. a couple of special edition Alpinas. A couple of examples that spring to mind are the recently launched B7 7-Series and rare Alpina Z8.

I doubt the marque will ever have the came cachet as M GmbH but it definitely has earned the respect of BMW fans across the globe.

Now the question is: will BMW be brave enough to ship the B6 to the U.S. even with the launch of the upcoming M6?


The Alpina B6 based on the 2012 6-series (F12) prototype has been spotted for the first time, on the streets of Germany.

Typical to form, this B6 prototype can be identified by its Alpina wheels, quad exhaust, and lack of M style aero parts (meaning it's not an M6 prototype). This prototype does not yet feature the eventual Alpina bodywork....
