I'd say the camaro looks the best so far.

is on my list of must haves! As far being less of a car than the current Mustang or Camaro Concept, I think everyone is missing the point. This is a halo car, much like the Mustang and Corvette are for each of these brands....Yes Dodge has Viper as well, but I think this car is just one of those feel good cars. It looks great, should kick butt in terms of straightline performance and it has GERMAN engineering (Had to say that in light of new DC comercials) As far as to mynook, yes retro styling may be a last ditch effort, but what is there to lose? The cars they have now (Chevy, and GM) are not very headturning, stylish autos. TO me this is the irony, because American cars were always known for their outlandish style in the 50's & 60's somewhere after that first Oil Crisis...they fell away from style and design....Now they are just point A to pont B cars with little to remember any of them by. Can you see today's Impala or Malibu being a Classic some 25 -30 yrs down the road...I doubt it. So this exercise in design to go back to when American Autos had some style is ok by me if it helps them find a new styling direction. One as if those cars of yesteryear had actually continued to evolve..... I like this car...I like the Camaro. Lets hope they stay much to the current concepts when they arrive! (The Mustang I feel strayed some from its concept)

All I can say is that there is nothing wrong with doing retro future muscle cars. This is an American heritage that Europe and Japan can never have. America needs to capitolize on it so more people will "buy American". If it takes muscle cars to do it so be it.Then GM,Ford, and Chrysler(although they Chrysler are already doing it)need to create muscle car sedans. Unless the styling is uniquely American Ford GM and Chrysler will never gain on Europe and Japan in market share.So bring on the Mustang and Camaro based sedan. Then you have some real alternative to an Accord and Camry.

Um...yeah, ok. Most domestic vehicles are built--and this is fact--outside of the United States. *gasp* Oh, no, the work has been outsourced. Meanwhile, Honda and Toyota still have plans to create more plants within the United States. So please enlighten me as to what "buy American" means? And you sound as if Japan doesn't have its own muscle cars. Ever heard of the Supra? RX7 (both of which confirmed to be returning in the next 2-3 years). We have our Z's and S4's. We have our Evo's and we have our STi/STI's. So you can keep your "Americanized muscle cars" that Japan and Europe will never have. We've got our own, homeslice...
