I have yet to read a good review of this car; not because the car is bad, but "meh" for a sport level BMW

@quizz

The biggest problem with this car is the fact the Porsche Boxster exists.

However, if you're looking for a front-engined machine that will easily lose control thanks to the torque overboost, this is the ride for you.

Was in my local BMW dealership yesterday and floor model had a $57,000
MSRP and asking price on windshield was $47,000. Tells you this model
is not appealing to hard core enthusiats and secretaries either do not like styling or cannot afford price of entry !

Just like the Z3 before it. Not enough demand.

They needed to redesign the S2000

If it had a real manual transmission, I'd have one for this price, but for the purchase price even this BMW nut would get the Boxter Spyder.

Still considering the Z4, but don't know if I can give up the third pedal, but at this price it might be worth the risk.

The new Z4 looks great on the road. It has way more appeal than the TT.

"a real manaul transmission"

Ferrari thinks they're obsolete and I tend to agree.

Anyway, a fully loaded Z435is is insanely expensive for what you get. I just priced one on the bmw website at $71k. Might as well buy a used 911 or Vantage at that price.
