SPIED: MORE Spy Images Of MINI's Upcoming Coupe, But What's There To See?

If you were hoping that the all-new MINI coupe would represent a breakaway from the small car maker's traditions, think again. Sporting a look very similar to the concept and the current-generation MINI Cooper, the Coupe seems like it has just cut out the backseat.

Looking at the first interior spy images, it's pretty clear that this vehicle adheres pretty closely to what made MINI's success great. In other words, it seemingly keeps a lot of the Cooper's interior details.

Unless MINI has something planned for us that we haven't seen yet, it doesn't look like the Coupe is going to break from the MINI mold just yet.

One cool thing we saw though was we now get an idea of how the rear hatch opens up.

Let's hope the John Cooper Works' exhaust cracks just as loud as the Cooper's on the overrun!
