Republicans Or Democrats - Who Benefits The Most From Lower Gas Prices?

We've heard that gas prices won't fall this summer, but at this point, they are clearly falling. Are we in a game of who's on first and what's on second? It almost feels like that's the situation we're in at this point.

People keep turning to different places seeking lower fuel prices. But in the end who will be responsible for gas prices, that is, if they go down and stay down. Some say Big Oil will be forced to lower prices if they continue to report record profits. Others think Obama should handle the situation, after all, he is our commander and chief. But at the end of the day, will it be the GOP?

Probably the GOP. Only because they can say "the gas prices are going down the tax breaks we give big oil are paying dividends. They love us" . That said, if they can maintain the those same tax breaks then the donations will keep coming. That last part goes for both sides of the aisle.

- Like the handouts that the GOP wants to give more of to the top-earners? In the form of reduced taxes? What have they done to deserve it? Oh yeah... Unemployement is at like 9%. Yeah.. The top earners really need more handouts.

Earth to sportbike80!!!! Just because a person is wealthy doesn't mean that it is impossible for them to receive a handout. A poor person gets to keep less of a percentage of what they've EARNED than the wealthy folks. That isn't right.

The issue is that you are so brain washed, that you don’t question anything, which has anything to do with the wealthy. In fact you defend them (and I doubt that you are one of them) you are a true sheep and you don’t even realize it.
