VIDEO: Villa d'Este 2011: And The Winner Is...
...the Aston Martin V12 Zagato!

Boasting a slick orange paint job, the V12 Zagato is a V12 Vantage-based Aston Martin. That means it has a 6.0-liter V12 pumping underneath the hood and puts out over 500 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Although the stock Vantage sounds monstrous, I wonder if Zagato has tuned this more serious version differently?

On our initial "STUD or DUD" post, a user pointed out that it reminds them of a Nissan GT-R. There's good reason for this.

If you analyze the A-Pillar area, you'll notice that the exaggerated front fender vent, blacked-out A-pillar and clamshell roof design are all traits of the Nissan GT-R. While the execution is carried out differently, it is definitely reminiscent.

There is one major difference about the Zagato V12 Vantage though: the GT-R is no where near this attractive looking. Zagato's Aston is the girl you first see at the bar while the GT-R is more like the last resort at the end of the night.

Many could argue that all current production Astons look too similar, but at least they all look similarly gorgeous, but this:

This looks like some bizarre love-child of an Aston and a Nissan GT=R that got rear-ended by a carbon-fibre delivery truck.
