Villa d'Este 2011: 00R Brings You Shots From The Greatest Concours On Earth

Vintage automotive shows are not an uncommon thing. But there is one in Lake Como, Italy that simply blows the others out of the water. There's just no comparison.

From the atmosphere to the particular vehicles that are given the spotlight, it's vintage automotive heaven.

For example, some Concours are lucky if they get one coachbuilt machine. Off the top of my head, there are at least three in attendance at Villa d'Este this year: the Aston Martin V12 Zagato Concept, Peter Kalikow's Ferrari Superamerica 45 and Jim Glickenhaus' P4/5 racer.

Is the light blue classic two photos above the E-Type an Alfa Romeo? Or an Aston? Can't quite figure out what it is...but I love it!
