you do know they redesigned the Z4 for the 2009 model year? I mention that because you'd obviously have to be talking about the previous generation, since you'd have to be insane to say that about the current one.

The current Z4 is BMW's best looking vehicle.

That's the Essence concept... not whatever this car will be, although it will probably share cues from the Essence.

It's about time Infiniti. Give it a lot of the Esscense styling, price it right and it will be a homerun!

The correct headline should be Nissan wants Infiniti brand to have a rival for the BMW Z4. And if the G37 Convertible is any indication it will be wide of the mark for that segment as well.

Seeing pictures of the Essence associated with every article stating "Infiniti wants to build x, y, z car" is getting tiresome.

As far as I'm concerned the current FX looks like the Essence in crossover SUV form and it predates the Essence. Plus the Essence is like 3 years old now.

Give the Essence a rest already.

Infiniti should be concentrating on bringing a BMW 1-Series and Audi A3 competitor. Make it RWD, light, agile and affordable. No more than $32k nicely loaded with a 2.0 or 2.5 ltr Turbo four
