Who Is The WORST Driver You Know And Why?

More than one in five Americans -- some 36.9 million -- are not fit to drive and would fail a driving test if asked to take one today, according to a new survey of the nation's drivers.

Shocking as that may be, it's actually an improvement. Last year, 38 million received failing grades. Nationwide, the average score this year increased to 77.9% from 76.2% in 2010.

Worst driver(s) I have ridden with never uses cruise and cannot keep a consistent pace without it. Terrible. I'd rather ride with a drunk taxi driver going the wrong way on a one way than take a road trip with an inconsistent driver.

+1, I had a taxi in Seattle who drove like this, continually pulsing the gas pedal and jerking the steering wheel. Very annoying.

Most of the drivers in Florida can't drive. I moved here from up north. I never experienced something like this: cars speed up, when you're trying to change lanes, just so he can get ahead of you and this happens almost all the time. They also make turns without putting the turn signal on. Especially, in tapering traffic...people fight like hyenas. I've been to most part of the United States and by far Florida has some really, really bad drivers.

LOL that is so true! I do that all the time. I hate when a slow moving person tries to get in front of me. You better speed up or hope the next guy lets you in. I indicate some times but I usually drive at a speed where I don't need to. But we know how to drive you just got to get use to it and drive fast as hell or a little faster cause if you're doing the speed limit that's what's going to happen. Do 5-10 over and see the difference.

Anybody that drives any Toyota and any Lexus with the possible, rare, exception of an IS. If you deny this fact, you are not an observant driver.

The worst drivers are anyone who drives a big, ugly stupid, dumb slow acclerating minivan. Minivan drivers take 3 hours and 2 days to make a right turn from a greenlight and take 15 hours to acclerate back to the speed limit after a red light. I HATE BEING BEHIND THEM. Why buy a stupid dumb van when you can get a CUV?
