I have 2 Caddys and was going to buy new ones but will not now.Going to front wheel drive based is going the wrong way. They should be rear wheel drive based with independent suspensions. The XTS is supid.Who mkes these decisions.Should have kept the DTS and saved money if this thing will be FWD.Why Front wheel drive? What is GM thinking? I drove Holdens all my life and they kick ass.Reason being they are mostly rear wheel drive. If GM wants to compete with the BMWs,Mercedez,Audi etc the way to stand out is to go RWD.Even the Japanese have more RWD.FWD is never inherently as stable as RWD PERIOD and thats why many upscale customers will never consider GM due to FWD.

I like the idea of a full size vehicle that is lighter and better on fuel, these are great people haulers, but these for work or play? They stopped doing that a while ago, I would like to see a light weight off road version of the Yukon, but more like the Raptor, actually designed for off road with increased wheel travel and race shocks, full cage... That will never happen. The exects lack creativity, they should all be sent to art school to help them think out side of the box.Currently the exects dictate the direction, that is all of the manufacturers problem.
