So they are fitting a smaller 4 cylinder into the Boxster and it only lost 15kg?? Jeeze, talk about neutering the car. They mention the same engine being put in the Cayman, I wonder if it'll lose an impressive 15kg as well..

I'll accept the reality of a 4cyl coming, but the 6 will continue as an option--that's my hunch.
I remember the flat four in the 356 and the notion of a modern day version as an alternative to hybrid power sounds interesting.

So the new Boxster will be out next year as a 2012 model? This better be a strong ass 4 cylider in the Boxster because the current 2.9 needs more power. I just drove the Boxster and the Boxster S back to back last week and the Boxster needs more balls.
I'm interested in seeing and driving the car when it comes out. I might just have to pick one up.
