Would These Be YOUR Top Eight Picks For A Road Trip?

What kind of car do you think of when you hear the phrase "road trip?"

For me, I think of something fast, relatively luxurious and comfortable but that's just me. Well, a writer for CNN Money came up with eight results that should just about nail everyone. From a Fiat 500 to the Audi A8, there's something for everyone.

But what would YOU pick for a long-distance burn?

Since I use to drive from the New York Tri-State area to Washington D.C. on a frequent basis, I can tell you there are definitely some cars in this list that make the cut while some others don't even have a dog in this fight.

Well.. the first three I wouldn't be caught dead in... the rest seemed valid, that last few maybe if money were no issue.

I have been on a road trip through Italy, Slovenia and Croatia in a Fiat 500. I would pass on that one. Mustang maybe with only 2 people aboard and a different head rest (anyone else hate the head rest in the mustang?). Maserati and A8 for sure, only been a passenger in a G37 convert but it felt weird to me, squirrelly or loose... If I could party all the way... Bentley with a driver.

Ok, I don't normally chime in on these things but since the A8 and a few of my other favorites were mentioned, I guess I will.

A8L, most definately but want the 2012 model with Audi Connect and Google earth mapping please.....oh and make it a W12 too.

Don't know much about the Nissan Quest but if it's anything like the new Odyssey, then yep! I know, I really DID right that! LOL Don't knock it till you've tried it is all I can say.

The rest would be barely acceptable rental cars but not something I would want to spend much time in, sorry.
