Porsche Cayenne Update

I was at a local Porsche dealer today talking with a couple of the sales guys and found out that there will be no 2007 model year for Cayennes. Porsche will skip straight to an updated 2008 Cayenne. The 08 Cayenne will be released sometime in early 2007, they did not know for sure.

What kind of updates will it have. I am pretty sure the V-6 engine will be upgraded to the 280 hp 3.6 liter VW version instead of the 3.2 because the Touareg is also getting that engine. I also expect some relatively minor styling changes.

They already anounced the Hybrid awhile back.

This SUV needs more standard features. You pay for keyless entry, sunroof, decent soundsystem, leather etc....basically everything. And yes...thats on the V8 Cayenne S model. For over 55 grand base....I would expect a little more.

The changes to the exterior seem very very subtle judging from those pics awhile back.
