Subaru FT-86 STI coming without a turbocharger
What Subaru will put on display at the Tokyo Motor Show this December is the production version of the sporty car that is being co-developed with Toyota. This rear-wheel-drive car, which features a Subaru-designed drivetrain and Toyota-styled body, will start selling in 2012. Toyota’s version will be sold in the U.S. as a Scion.

They're going to release the non-turbo model first and then the "STi" variant will be the one with the turbo.

The more and more I hear about this car, the less and less I like what they are doing with the drivetrain.

I have the distinct feeling that Subaru and Toyota are building a lemon and they are trying to find a way to candy coat it, by giving it a nice exterior.

Knock Knock Toyaru...everyone in your market segment has a turbo...why dont you?
