The Top 10 MOST Disappointing Cars Of 2011 -- Can You ADD To The List?

There are a couple of ways to determine if a car is disappointing. The first is the most logical way, analyzing sales figures. The second is more of a philosophical approach -- for example, is this car destroying a brand's credibility?

It's really fun to watch when both happen.

Don't get me wrong, I don't take pleasure in seeing any company fail because that comes at the expense of workers that busted their asses to get a product out to the market. Long story short though, every produced vehicle -- even the hideous Aztek -- is someone's baby. You know it has to hurt for the people that poured their heart into the project.

Regardless, CNN decided to put together a list of the most disappointing cars of 2011. Let's see if YOU can add to the list with your very own input.

Honda civic. Mr Honda is spinning in his grave. After all, remember the innovation and excitement in the '80's?
I had a 1984 Civic 'S', later a '88' CRX Si. They were cutting edge for their time.
Today it's all about "volume" sellers for the milktoast crowd.

It is most certainly misunderstood but I just bought a BMW 5GT for $7,400
under dealer cost and absolutely love it...for many reasons it does fit my lifestyle but you cannot believe how such a heavy car can carve up a B road when the suspension is in Sport or Sport +. Hard to believe I know but test drive if you are from Missouri. A 7 series chassis and engine (550i V8) at over $20,000 under the cost of a 7 series. I know I may not be convincing many but it is a high quality, sleeper with lots of space and utility. I will be quiet now !

I agree while most people don't understand it, almost every review I have read on it is positive in regards to its driving dynamics, comfort, and utility.

You got a great deal on a great car. I saw the V8 at the LA auto show, white with sport package. It looked fantastic and had the best back seat by far of any car at the show. Been looking at low-ball deals on them too, but is has to be that color and equipment!

BMW 1M, the M cars have always had special motors (if you discount the 525M way back when)... now it is just a mainstream motor used in other cars... really dilutes the M brand IMHO.

I know people might not like this but the exterior styling on the QX56 was out of left feild to me. Infiniti makes great cars but I don't really get the SUV's. The QX isn't ugly but it sure isn't hot either. Atleast not on the outside.

I think that all product from Honda and Nissan need a new designer they are ugly, and Toyota is so bored so not even comment is valid.
