As you may know already, Tesla CEO Elon Musk told the press that the company’s sedan, Model S, is on track for 2012 launch. It appears that the firm also wanted to show us how the car will look like and revealed three new photos with its new Model S. I don't see it. The mouth is different. The lights are different. Side profile is different.

Identical? Wow, I think you need to look a little more carefully. Don't get me wrong, the Mazda 6 looks pretty good, but the Model S blows it away inside and out.

Yeah, if you think that looks like a Mazda6, you must be smokin something.. Personally I think it looks pretty hot. They've made some small tweaks since the concept debut, the grill and headlights for example. I think it really works!

I've had the pleasure of actually driving a roadster once, and it remains some of the most fun I've ever had in a car- Ever. Hopefully this sedan can capture some of that. And maybe one day, (hopefully sooner, rather than later:) I'll be able have one of my very own. Anyone want to spot me 130K?

Very nice car. Am still not sure though about its real-world usability. I mean the expected 300mile range - carrying what kind of load? That range can easily be halved if one carries 2 or 3 passengers with 1 bag each...Just my 2 cents.
