I think it is safe to say that the upcoming 2012 BMW 1-Series has received a not-so-welcome reception from BMWphiles across the 'net.

I'll bet money they're scrambling for them once they debut though.

A3 is soon going to be replaced soon with the new model. The new 1 series looks nothing compare to the A3 Sedan concept. The current A3 though very old still looks better than new 1 series IMO.

Driving dynamics BMW, styling, VW/Audi, interior Audi/BMW. The BMW is just plain ugly from the front, very un BMW from the rear and resembles the current 3 series from the sides aside from it being a hatch. They badly need a 2 door coupe.

Agreed, the current 1-series headlight housing is way better..
