Corvette Interior Upgrages

The Corvette has an almost legendary reputation for having a sub optimal interior. Believe it or not, but the people at GM took many of those complaints and actually corrected them.

Lets first recap common complaints about the Corvette's Interior.

1. Seat Support
2. Seat Materials
3. Silver Plastic On the Steering Wheel
4. Lacking sound system

Next, what did they actually change?

1. They have a revised seat! Featuring stiffer foam and it's deeper to hold you in better.
2. New Suede seat inserts.
3. Wrapped steering wheel spokes
3. Upgraded sound system to include two new tweeters, and revised 10" subs.
4. Magnetic ride control available on more models

Still looks like a Chevy Cavalier interior. GM has put so much effort into the engine, suspension, transmission, exterior design...but not much into making the Corvette interior look as good as it's on-road performance indicates. This new interior reminds me of an old Bonneville or Grand Prix --- really not impressive.

Porsche Cayenne and Panamera have Leather Vents Options

Pretty Sure the Pagani Zonda and Huayra both used Carbon Fiber Vents

FYI we are talking about the Whole Vent Surrounds not necessarily the inner slats.

Nice improvements. Hopefully the seats work a little better though. The covettes interior is too small for Recaros so it has had to settle for subpar seats for a while now.

They should use the designers that did the Saturn Sky interior, and double their parts budget. That should do the trick.
