DeltaWing Concept to compete at Le Mans 24 in 2012
The DeltaWing, initially proposed as a replacement for the current Dallara IndyCar for the 2012 season, will instead get a chance to compete in the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Project 56 revealed that it is holding talks with potential engine suppliers to provide a 1.6-liter turbocharged powerplant producing about 300 hp. As noted previously, the car has a slender nose with an extremely narrow front track that minimizes the amount of horsepower needed to reach 200 mph.

uhm... this looks like an unstable layout for track use. Hopefully it generates enough down force in the rear to prevent the rear inside tyre from lifting. Even then, the excessive weight transfer will diminish the vehicles cornering capabilities.
