UAW Greets Presidential Candidate Romney With Protest

UAW Greets Presidential Candidate Romney With Protest
Republican presidential candidate and Michigan native Mitt Romney defended his position against the auto industry bailout when he was questioned by reporters today during a campaign stop in Detroit.

With the auto industry recovering, Romney is under fire for a 2008 op-ed piece he authored in the New York Times titled "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt," that advised against a federal bailout of the industry.

He was greeted by union protesters at his first campaign stop this morning, in Livonia.

Bailout money should have been made available only to those Auto Companies with employees who were willing to vote out the UAW.

No taxpayer money should have been given to companies that had unionized labor.

IMO, your credibility as a democrat is lost when you use the term "tea-bagger" to insult your opposition. Calling someone a tea bagger suggests they enjoy having testicle filled scrotums dangled in their face. Isn't this a center piece issue that many democrats support the right to do?

The Union haters will always remain for companies and not for the people they dont mind the CEO of a company making enough money for 10 lifetimes VS the common man just getting by this lifetime.

Might want to read that link again. It states that early on, the tea party suggested teabagging those in DC that supported the stimulus. Unless you like being on the receiving end of that sort of thing (I'm not judging), the insults on you.
