2012 Chevrolet Impala police car is now more powerful and fuel-efficient
General Motors has unveiled the police patrol version of the new Impala. The Impala’s retail and police versions will be powered by GM’s new 3.6-liter V6 engine with direct-injection technology mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Thats still a pic of a 2011 model guys. Even though the 2012 isnt an "all new" model, it still gets a minor facelift to go along with its powertrain updates.

I just said it is NOT an all new model! lol Re-read man! This updated V6 FWD Impala is for those who are comfortable with the FWD set up that they have become use to. GM's 3.6L V6 is a very good motor, btw.

As far as OTHER police car options, the states have the V6 AWD turbo-charged Ford Taurus Interceptor, the V8 RWD Chevy Caprice PPV, and the V8 RWD Dodge Charger Pursuit.
