New body style S-Class gets stretched

What Canada needs is some S-Class limos. I hate having to be driven in an old 95 Cadillac or Lincoln Towncar limo. Why do people like those cars? Because they have leather? For Pete's sake, that doesn't make the car luxurious!!!!!!

Canada has Lincoln Navigators, Escalades, Hummers, Cadillac DTS for limo's. I don't know what part of the country you are but here in Vancouver, we have the new cars. Don't get me wrong, the less fortunate limo companies do still run their older TownCar's. However, they are luxurious. Perhaps go down to the Lincoln/Ford dealerships and sit in one of the regular Towncars. They're as comfortable as they come. Nevertheless, it would be nice to see one of these high end saloons stretched or double stretched.

Obviously that is a photos shop, why are there three door handles? MikeG: Canada has alot of luxury limosines. Here in Toronto they have all sorts of them . We have H1's H2's (2006) DeVilles/DTS S-Class's Jaguar's Lexus's and the common Lincoln.

To me, this looks like a photoshop. Compare the front row and middle row. They look to much like the same to have been taken as a picture. The crease running down the side of the car also looks inaccurate.

OK Guys. I live in Winnipeg. I was a little extreme in what I said, but still, what I was getting to was that Lincolns are not very prestigeous and neither are Cadillacs in my mind. Half the wood in an Escalade is fake, the rest is real (steering wheel and door panels). Great way to build up the brand's prestige! "Hey, let's make the entire dash out of blatantly FAKE plastic wood! That'll show the competition we mean business!" To me, that is as Rupert says, "Utter Rubish!" In Winnipeg we have H2 limos, Excursion limos, etc., but seriously, those aren't luxurious. Luxurious is Jaguar, Audi, Lexus, MB, and BMW. Anyways, all the people with money don't live in Winnipeg. Rich Canadians live in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.

MikeG, the new Escalades have 100% real wood. I'm from Vancouver but I can also say we have a lot of homeless people in this city. So rich? not all. Wealthy? Yes many. Homeless? quite a bit for a world class city. Too much infact.

We still have Cadillacs & Lincolns running around for Limos. Nothing wrong with that. They're going by traditional domestic limos and a linc & cadillac are it. People who buy the Jaguar, Audi, Lexus, MB, and BMW prefer driving themselves rather than converting a saloon into a stretched limo.

MBFan604. I have been to Vancouver. I brother lived there for a year while he was on the SFU national wrestling team. From my experience, I felt extremely unsafe. Too many bums doing smoking crack in broad daylight on busy streets and then doing pushups on the street for my good. There are so many creeps there, it is unreal. I was shocked at how many homeless people there were. One dirty drug dealer/homeless person (maybe he slept in a crackhouse - I don't know) told my friends and I to not go too far down Hastings because the crackwh0res would stab us with dirty needles; we took his advice. My brother also felt very unsafe living there while going to school in Burnaby and wrestling. Quite often he would go with his teammates to the clubs, etc., and he even felt unsafe. He competes at the heavyweight level (national champion) and has MMA (mixed martial arts and jiu-jitsu) experience.

On the car end, I hear what you are saying. Personally, I would never buy an American car, but at times when you want to go out with your friends in style and get a little tipsy - too tipsy to drive - a limo with international flavour and style would be nice.
