RENDERED SPECULATION: Should Mercedes-Benz Build A CLS Convertible?
For the 2012 model year, Mercedes-Benz has introduced an all-new CLS. Being the icon for the four-door coupe movement means that there is a lot riding on this car. After all, it inspired a new design trend that has taken the industry by storm.

But the internet rumormill has cooked up some interesting things in the past couple of months. First there was word of Mercedes contemplating producing a next-gen S-Class convertible -- hey, if Nissan can make a soft-top Murano, anything's possible right?

Now we've received word of a CLS convertible rendering. Given that there is speculation about a Porsche Panamera Convertible, maybe it would be a nice, proactive way for Mercedes to stay ahead of the curve.

**Thanks to our friend André for the tip!

I say yes but probably will not happen as next S Class rumored to have a four door convertible....

Actually this would make more sense in a four door convertible than the S Class but the rendering is a two door. So, pointless.

They have the E and SL convertibles so I don't think MB would do that.
