the state of the dealership DOES diminish the brand if they look like they are still in the 80's. Most Ford dealers are beyond bad. It is all part of the brand marketing. It matters as much as the vehicles themselves.

Most Lincoln dealears look like a building that was designed for used cars. Especially the ones that once shared its showroom with Mercury. The stand alone Lincoln dealer in Libertyville, IL is completely embarrassing. To make matters worse, its right across the street from Weil Cadillac and down the street from great looking Ford, Toyota, Honda, and Infiniti dealers...
