The Colors Of The Rainbow With BMW Individual, Have YOU Seen THESE Colors Before?

The Colors Of The Rainbow With BMW Individual, Have YOU Seen THESE Colors Before?
In the States we aren't exactly privy to the full BMW Individual program. Usually it takes a lot of convincing and a pretty strong agreement in order to get a BMW Individual car in the U.S. simply because dealers do not want to take on the risk of having an Individual car sitting on the lot as it depreciates.

Most buyers aren't that enthusiastic about paint schemes and unique interior combinations. Can't exactly blame dealers from discouraging it.

With that said, if you appreciate the details of cars and want something a bit more unique, BMW Individual can do that for you.

For some examples of the VERY cool and special colors, take a look at what an E90post user "Dackelone" saw when he stopped by a Munich BMW dealership: St. James Red, Mora Metallic, Dakar Yellow, Orinocco Metallic (my personal favorite), Fir Green and the elusive Aegean Blue.

Following our earlier coverage, we share with you photos of even more Individual BMW 3-series models.

Dackelone made another trip to the factory-owned BMW dealer in Munich, and caught even more stunning Individual models. Starring today are E93 models in St. James Red, Mora Metallic and Dakar Yellow as well as an E91 335i in Orinocco Metallic, a Fir Green E90 and an Aegean Blue E92...

I'm all for colors, but these ones aren't very interesting.

I do not know why but I do dig yellow BMW's. I just do...must be a result of the time Mom dropped me on my head.

I love the idea of BMW individual colors...just wish they were totally available in the US, rather than the three or four options available on the 6 and 7 series.

On a side note...a 335i Touring and a new 5 series touring? Add X drive and export to the US shores. YES PLEASE!!

The full BMW Individual book is now open to the US market and has been for a while. There are a few incorrect statments in this article and Autospies should know better. There is a process to ordering from BMW Individual and your dealer should know the correct form to give to you. Previously you had to know someone that knew what they were doing at the dealer level and they in turn needed know someone to override the correct prompts at BMW NA to put your order in but that is no longer the case. Around last fall BMW really opened the book to the US market. Mora has been in the BMW individual color palette for a while now but seeing it on an actual car is very interesting.

BMW AG wants dealers to offer it and they do not do a very good job of promoting it. It will add around $5,000 +/- to the total for either the paint or selected interior.

Wow, I was completely unaware that this was possible. Sounds like my next bimmer might just be an individual color.

I was basing my statment on the fact that BMWUSA.com had offered "individual" colors and interior colors on the build your own feature of the Gen-1 6 series and the current 7 series, but didn't mention anything on any other model.
