The Toyota Group will start selling its hybrid truck in the U.S. this December. The 14,500-pound hybrid will be known as the 155h, while the 19,500-pounder will be sold as the 195h. It isnt worthless but its just that an electric motor only beats a petroleum engine in one category and that is operating costs. Everything else the combustion engine destroys the electric motor. It doesnt even fair well in fuel economy.

This article refers to cab over commercial vehicle and not a Tundra or Tacoma hybrid. It's like those Isuzu box trucks that you see all over the place.
