Lexus, Mercedes Drive Past BMW in Sales

It's Korea we're talking about here...Hardly a litmus test for ROTW sales. BFD.

The key element in the story is that new models tend to outsell old models and Lexus has the $$$ to keep introducing more models and at a faster pace than BMW and Mercedes.

Also its interesting to see a Japanese luxury brand doing well in another Asian country.

Korea is barely 1% of sales for BMW and Merc... Maybe bigger for Lexus...

A Korean friend of mine tells me that the Koreans still feel anti-Japanese sentiments because of their shared history in the past. He said that Japanese cars tend to do poorly in Korea. Now I have not checked any sales sheets for this market (and I don't really care either), but I'll take his word for it.

It's good to see Lexus at the top spot,as they deserve this success and with time they will capture and rule many new markets.
