Considering summer is just about here, it's time to start putting the top down and enjoying the sun. Say what you will about convertibles being for "posers," but you can't deny the fun of one heading down to the beach.

The Fiat? not cool.

The Bentley and Maserati are great if you are in an affluent area, but it draws way too much attention anywhere else and is almost obnoxious in its opulence.

I like the convertible Camaro from the 2011 group.

For all time summer "cool", the first few old school generation mustang convertibles can't be beat for making an appearance at the beach. I also like the VW convertible bug as a beach time classic.
