The 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans was a thriller. After a jaw-dropping 24 hour period, only 13 seconds separated the first and second place winners. Aside from the prototypes though, there was Chevrolet who took the top spot in the GTE class.

Now if you've never been to Le Mans but may have aspirations to go and drive the track, you better start preparing. That's because it is a challenging track that makes you work for your victory. Chevrolet must have known that, so, it prepared a video with Oliver Gavin behind the wheel of a Corvette.

I watched most of it live this year. In the wee hours, the SPEED announcers agreed to their viewers requests and SHUT UP while they followed the winning Corvette around the circuit. It was MAGICAL.
