Toyota Backs Down To Social Media Pressure And Returns Murdered Woman's Car To Family
Aaron Knudsen, 24, has had a lot to deal with since his mother, Denise Fransua, was murdered a month ago. One more thing he didn't need was going to the Denver Police evidence impound lot and finding Toyota had repossessed his mother's Camry.

Knudsen contacted Toyota and tried to work out getting the car back but got no help. Then he posted his story on Facebook -- it went viral, and Toyota starting seeing a lot of not-so-fanlike comment on its Facebook fan page . The company now has responded to him.

Wow, read much? This isn't the same article. This one states that Toyota returns the car. The other one stated that they took the car and wouldnt release it until full payment was received...

Don't bug him too much, he suffers from poor reading comprehension.

Toyota agreed to return the car a few days ago. Not that they had any obligatiojn to do so. This is opening a big can of worms. Now anytime someone suffers a tragedy, they will use social media to try to get free stuff. Ugh.

He "contacted Toyota and tried to work out getting the car back but got no help" ...no "help"? Perhaps if he made any oustanding payments and the car was released under his ownership by the cops there would be no need for "help", he'd simply do what was necessary to get the car back. But no, go whine like a baby on Facebook. Pathetic.

He kept up with the payments, he didn't have enough to outright buy what was left on the vehicle as Toyota was demanding him to do (plus over a grand of extra charges).
