13 models however? I wonder how many of these models are variants of the same vehicle?

Mclaren counting their models like Porsche.

In the upcoming Top Gear season there will be 458 vs MP4-12C(from teaser video). That will be interesting.

To be fair you can't trust everything you read without doing a little homework. First about a year ago there was a track test between the 458 and the gt2rs and the porsche had the fastest lap time. This time ferrari's weight was a little suspect and it won the fastest lap time. Ferrari has always been accused of tuning their cars when they enter comparision test and this I assume would be no different considering they are competing with mclaren. But if you read the mclaren has suspension problems. Once tested again with corsa tires they recorded the fastest lap time. This is all pointless. If we were to buy each car directly off the showroom floor and send them to the track my money would be on the mclaren. Also this is the very first mp4-12c. Give them a little time to work out the minor gripes. As did nissan with the first gtr.
