For what has seemed like eons, BMW's products have always been geared as sportier, more aggressive performers. Audi, on the other hand, were always deemed too heavy and dull; however, no one said their interiors were a let down.

But with all-new models out from both brands, have the tides finally turned?

Agent 001 has given Audi's latest A6 the nod over the new BMW 5-Series but what are other people saying? Well, if you consider performance a benchmark, look no further...

I still prefer the 5 Series despite this comparison test. The weight differnce between the two vehicles was a factor, as well as AWD on the Audi.

The Audi is running on summer performance tires, and the BMW is running on All season tires, which explains the difference in the handling tests!!

The new A6 looks very dull when I first saw it I thought it was a Ford Taurus. I'm going to have to give the BMW the nod here. The 5 series design looks great.

I test drove the 5 back to back vs the 2011 A6 (as well as E, GS, and CTS) before I bought my 535i, and it wasn't even close! Seriously doubt the 2012 A6 would change the outcome.

From that frontal picture above, the looks are so generic and tasteless,"StarWars" headlights aside, the front design is simply dull.With that said, with sport package in the 5, it would have a different outcome.Props to AUDI though, for a better all-rounder.
