SCOOP: You've Been SPIED -- The Next-Generation Lexus GS

SCOOP: You've Been SPIED -- The Next-Generation Lexus GS
Sent in from a source "LXG" is the first spy photograph of the next-generation Lexus GS in HEAVY camouflage. Although we would have liked some more shots and varying angles, this is all that we have.

As you can see it is sporting some serious protection, which leads us to believe that Lexus isn't all that close to a final design on the next-gen vehicle.

Given the palm trees and environment, this appears to be shot in SoCal, which would make sense given that a good portion of Lexus' operations are based in Torrance.

This car is so camo'd up we can't even tell if it bears resemblance to the 2011 New York Auto Show car, the LF-Gh!

Any thoughts, Spies?

Yeah, because that car was so friggin' ugly they had to make some changes....

Lex, stop trying to make the next-gen GS an Bimmer E60 clone and just make a good looking car.

Oh, and please no damn "clock" in the center console.....

I wounder the same thing. why would lexus make a car to compete with the E class and give it the signature dual head lights that are only on the E? and then they did the third generation with same thing! really lexus? They must really think people are crazy if they want to charge the same thing for the knock off and people buy it instead of just going to go get the real thing. I hope they don't do that again. I think that's one thing that hurt their sales. how unoriginal can you be?

I perfer a analog clock my self but I agree luxury cars shouldnt have digital clocks in the center console. it probably just a camry feature they forgot to take out before they put the L on there.

Yep, I too was thinking it could be a Ford/Buick product. Why would anybody think this is a Lexus product as opposed to any other manufacturer? Obviously this mule does not want to be identified at all, so....

Wow. Interesting! I'm a fan of your page (a fan of ANYTHING automotive despite the 'lacman' tag). I'm the guy who tried to correct you when you stated a camo'd GS was being chased by a LX. I stated that it was a Sequoia! lol ;)

No they didn't, the first four wheeled combustion engined vehicle were made almost 80 years prior to benz in France. Steam powered vehicles use the combustion of solid fuels such as wood and coal, and are technically combustion engined.

Please spare us the BS Agent000. Why no link? At least you guys could have done a better job masking this 2007 Lincoln Continental.
