STUD or DUD: Is The BMW 6-Series M-Sport Doing The Trick For You?

STUD or DUD: Is The BMW 6-Series M-Sport Doing The Trick For You?
As we've seen with the 3, 5, 7 and just about every other BMW you can think of, the M-Sport package always seems to up the ante, at least if you prefer a vehicle with a more sporting look. The 6-Series isn't any different.

With that said, we've just received images of the 6-Series with the new M-Sport package and we want to know how you think it looks. Thankfully, this time it is not wearing camo.

Take a look at the images down below...

The BMW 6 Series coupe will be available at dealerships later this fall, and now BMW has taken the wraps off the entire engine and model range of the 6-Series Coupe.

And it looks like they are giving the 6-Series the star treatment with availability of a diesel variant (640d), an xDrive variant (650i) and of course M-Sport and Individual vehicles. The new xDrive system will only be available on the 650i, but as was reported earlier a 6-cylinder 640i is now available, which should make the 6-Series more attainable.

These are the new engine ranges at a glance:

This looks absolutely fantastic! Makes up for the weak front bumper the stock 6 comes in. I think BMW is starting to do a Mercedes on us. Make all the regular models have extremely bland front bumpers so that most people go for the M pack.

*sigh* the 640d, there's an engine we'll never see in the US. 313hp and 464 lb-ft of goodness.

Did you see the BMW Individual interior on Bimmerfile.com? It's like a white/brown/black leather combo with a honey wood -- freaking gorgeous. Actually here's a link:

I'm glad to see BMW realized they had the console/shifter cover backwards in the 5-series and corrected it for the 6.

Does anyone else think that the 5-series console/shifter cover layout is backwards?
