2011 Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde: would you buy this car if it was offered in the US?

The Mito unlike the Giulieta is based on the Grand Punto chassis and suspension. It is currently not part of the C-Evo platform that Alfa will be sharing with Chrysler. It looks the part cosmetically but does not drive the part.Reviews of the Mito have been mixed as to how it drives dynamically. The Giulieta is a better road machine frankly.

I'd buy any Alfa Romeo if they sold them here. Alfa Romeos are cars you buy based on emotion, not logic. They're sculpted works of art, those Alfas.

My brother recently moved to Marseille, France, to work for an IT firm and he drives the new Citroen C4. I am jealous that Europeans get to enjoy these fine and stylish cars while all we're offered here in the US are the rather drab and emotionless Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans, Volkswagens, Mazdas, Kias and Hyundais.

When you look at the design of American cars, you cant really blame Europe and Asia for giving us such bland vehicles. To top things off, we have one of the weakest currency of the developing countries.

I agree with Willis. I would buy any Alfa if and when it gets to our shores. The interior design of the Mito hits all the right buttons.I would accept slightly inferior handling as a trade off.
