2012 BMW 5 Series GT M Sport Kit Announced

BMW announced autumn 2011 will also see the launch of an M Sport package for the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo, which was developed specifically for this model. New options from the BMW Individual range for this model, comprising additional exterior paint finishes, alloy wheels and interior trim, all highlight the exclusive character of the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo.

For the same reason that AMG was offering an R class. The car is so ugly that it is a fail. To hide the failure they add all 5GT sales to the current 5 series.
