Will the BMW 335i be faster than an Audi S4 or Lexus IS350?

Probably. The S4 0-60 is about 5.1 and the IS 350 is around 5.2 I think. BMW rates the 350i at 5.3 but I think that 5.0 is possible, it will be really close. Not sure about the 350i sedan though.

Chewy, it is 335i. 350i would imply that it is using the BMW 4.8 L V8.

Hey Pending User, an IS 350 is just as fast as a Audi S4.

is 350 doesn't have 4 wheel drive so you are more likely to spin the wheels and waste power. i know bmw does too, but they're good at making fast rwd cars.
i think it will be quickest.

It will be fast (probably quicker than the IS350 but slower or equal to the S4), but how fast a sports sedan is is not really the issue. The real question is, WILL IT BE BALANCED LIKE ALL OTHER 3-SERIES'?

I know, I got carried away with the IS 350 and the BMW 335i.

What do we mean by faster? 0 to 60 ... more than likely a dead heat with the Audi S4. If we are talking overall performance in regards to handling, braking, and acceleration, then yes. The kicker is that it will price out about 5 to 6k less than the Audi S4. Then add the resale value on top of that plus the free full maintenance up to 50k miles. Best value in the class ......

The 335i's turbo engine will be lighter than a V-8 but just as powerful. It's pushing out 300 hp & 300 lb-ft of torque in a lighter package. An Audi S4 is just as fast as a Lexus IS 350, so guaranteed the Bimmer will be faster.

Lexus IS is as fast as the S4 or maybe even more.The 335i is 300BHP,IS is rated at 306BHP so i think Lexus have an edge there.

All in All IS is the fastest in the 3.

But no worry, IS can also take down the S4.They both are equally fast.
AutoCar Magazine have test driven both.
They both are equally fast,but S4 is way too expensive.

Lexus is the FASTEST.

The BMW should be able to handle the Lexus without a problem. It's not the horsepower that gives you good 0-60 times, it's traction and torque. The BMW has more torque and the smaller turbo's will spool up faster, thus making this a Very Potent combination.

I'm not taking anything away from the Lexus, because it is a nice car.......I just don't think that it'll take the BMW. Just my .02 and you usually get what you pay for! :)

Now for the S4, that's a bit more of a challenge. I'll still stick with BMW!
