The Toyota Hilux has long had a monopoly on the market for rebel groups and terrorists, the mighty pick up truck can be modified to fit pretty much any sort of heavy gun, light gun or even basic missile systems, furthermore the Hilux’s legendary reliability and low cost has made it the king of trucks for rebels across the world from Afghanistan to paramilitary militias in South America.

Hilux’s started appearing in rebel camps in the late 60′s when the first models appeared on the market and since then it has exploded (no pun intended) to become one of the best selling trucks for rebels, but its not only the rebels that like it.

What do terrorists know about trucks? I wouldn't trust any vehicle out of China until they have proved them selves. I guarantee any vehicle out of China will be a copy of something, nothing cutting edge, China follows for now, this is the culture there.

The Toyota Hilux's sold in Africa are completely stripped models. No A/C, no rear bumpers, vinyl seats, manual roll down windows etc. These toyota's will always be popular because of the legendary Toyota quality. Those Chinese brand trucks are junk.
