Does The Car You Drive Giveaway Your Political Affiliation? And Which Are The WORST Offenders?
As this topic is near and dear to people's hearts, please ensure to remain respectful in this post.
Aside from that, let's get to the real business: could it be? Have you ever been cut off by a particular vehicle with an identifying bumper sticker that proudly supports candidate "x" and you find yourself grinding your teeth?
"Of course" you exclaim as you tensely grab the steering wheel, frustration mounts.
With that said, have you noticed a certain car that tends to support specific candidates or represents a bias for a certain party?

With bumper stickers you are guaranteed to have half of the population hating you without meeting you, also a good way to get your car keyed.

Definitely Volvos and the car that people who cannot afford a Volvo own, Subaru, are the worst offenders..the only stickers missing from the back of the Volvo in the pic are "coexist", "Meat is Dead", some sort of prochoice sticker and maybe a Gore/Leiberman campaign sticky.
And not to mention the lack of driving prowess exhibited by a great percentage of the folks who own these makes. I always fely that Volvo should change their tagline to "Volvo-we build cars to protect our idiot drivers."

prius...aka pious drivers. probably the most self-righteous people on the planet. half of them are wealthy, live in HUGE houses, and waste natural resources left and right...but they're saving the world as they drive 80mph in the HOV lane on the highway.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I just laugh when I see those kinds of people. I forgive them, as they aren't smart enough to realize they are wrong.

I think it was best said by comedian Dimitre Martin. "A lot of people don't like bumper stickers. I don't mind bumper stickers. To me a bumper sticker is a shortcut. It's like a little sign that says Hey, let's never hang out."

OMG this is a funny post and predictably argumentative, LOL. Anyone car to take a stab at BMW owners? Haven't seen one yet surprisingly. Oh come on, you know you want to!

bmw usually generates lots of talk on here. but nobody buys a bmw for 'political' reasons. most people buy them over mercedes, audi or lexus because they really like to drive a well-balanced car that's fun to drive.

You are right Lexsucks, they all do the same thing in the end anyways because they are all puppets to the money people, if America were smart they would have voted in Ron Paul, the cIA would have him killed very quickly and blame someone just like JFK, Love him or hate him Dr Ron Paul is the only one not going to play the money peoples game, he wanted to Nationalize the Federal Reserve, for all of you Americans that don't know, America owns a few percent and have almost no control of how it is run, I would research this after you all de boost me,lol

@LexSucks: Agreed whole-heartedly. One thing I can say to the American public. Steer clear of the political tribalism that your country is now embarking on. It has perhaps never been as bad as I am seeing it now and let the wise be warned. "A house divided against itself cannot stand..." I believe Abraham Lincoln said those words. But to be fair, I don't think a specific car says anything much about what party you may or may not vote for, but I suspect most Republicans would be driving American cars, since so much of their support comes from the Bible Belt...farm lands...where the pickup truck is king. And we all know that the pickup truck is as American as apple pie...no wait...that actually came from Britain...as American as democracy...no wait...that's a Greek idea...as American as Chevrolet...no wait...he actually came from Switzerland...<scratching chin>...as American as an M16 rifle? <sigh> I really did try...

saab, volvo, prius....the top choices for self-righteous, do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do, out-of-touch, liberals. not to be confused with libertarians, please.
