Audi RS 4 vs. Porsche 911 Carerra 4S

In my book, the Audi RS4 takes the cake by a long shot. Not only is it $40k less, it's more practical with a real backseat, and it doesn’t take a professional race car driver to be able to look like one.

On the track, the 911 may be marginally faster, but in a real world setting the RS4 is the king of the sports sedans.

I would choose the 911: a legendary icon. On a side note, I just read the (Automobile Magazine) long term test of the Audi A6. They had to deal with EIGHT unscheduled visits to the dealer for electronic failures/glitches. Audi design is great but they obviously have a long way to go in trouble free engineering. You would not have these issues with a Lexus.

I was lucky enough to take a RS4 for spin...wow..sick car...nothing wrong with 911 either..the price seems to be the real difference maker between the two..and, by the way, absolutely nothing has gone wrong on my '05 A6 4.2 S-line..love it, and waiting to order a S6...

audi4ever...the truth hurts, huh. Funny, Automobile never mentioned the eight unscheduled visits as an "occassional glitch" and even went so far to mention that it was a disappointing aspect of the car and inherent of German cars. I am just stating what the magazine said. Maybe you should write Automobile and tell them to never write anything negative about Audi's.
