Man! Looks like Nissan didn't hire that new design staff after all. Looks like they will continue to lose sales to Kia and Hyundai.

Nissan Yaris?

They went backwards in design. As quirky as the first Versa was in the U.S. the French design worked and sold well. The Toyota Yaris will sell well compared with this and the Accent will do just as good in comparison. Nissan failed.

@ autospies2: How could Kia copy this if The 2012 Rio sedan and hatch ain't even out yet. You just salty because Toyota, Honda and Nissan are doing facelifts after 6 years while Hyundai/Kia doing redesigning. Besides, lets not forget the 2012 Nissan Versa hatch copied the side profle of the Mazda 3 hatch. I'm jtz have a nice day.

Oh and Autospies 2. You don't won't to go there with Hyundai/Kia copying. I can get 300 cars from Japan you never thought in your life copied. 500 if you count german cars.

So autospies 2, do I have to tell you where the Sentra's greenhouse copied? Or what about the Mercury Milan and Altima's headlights? Maybe I should bring those to the kitchen table since you think the 2012 Rio looks like this ugly Versa. Oh yeah the 2006 Rio 5's tailights came out before the Versa. Also add the 2004 Mercedes R's tailights. So there. I'm jtz I can get car designs your blind eyes could never pick up. Now hurry it up with my negative votes. Or keep it at Zero. It won't change the fact that the 2008 Malibu's headlights copied the Mercedes C class'.
