How would you like to be the poor Lincoln dealer that has to sell that thing, loose your profitable (for dealers) Mercury line-up, and be told you have to invest $1-million to keep your dealer francise?

Ford should have taken every dollar it wasted "lincolnifying" that Ford Flex and spent it refining the soon-departed Town Car. At least it would then have some RWD product (that sells in volume) that wasn't spun off a FWD platform.

I can admit weakness in a product line, if it's warranted. As a whole, Ford Motor Company builds very good products that I would be proud to drive.

Other people see things in simplistic terms, and don't have the self-confidence to admit the flaws in the nation/company they've attached their identity to.
