Adam Carolla's latest venture, The Car Show, made its debut tonight on SPEED.

In an hour long slot, the show featured a review of the Rolls-Royce Ghost, the four hosts participating in the 24 Hours of Lemons, an interview with NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson and a game show-inspired showdown.

Between the cinematography, show's on-air personalities and chemistry, and content, what did you think?

I saw the last 20 mins, so I only saw the Rolls feature. I thought it was pretty good for a first effort. Then again, I'm a Carolla podcast fan.

I watched it this morning and was fairly impressed. I was glad they didn't try to "clone" Top Gear and did a mostly fresh show. Adam behaved himself and only threw in a couple sex jokes. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing it every week. With TireRack as their major sponsor, hopefully they'll have the funding to continue.

Kinda like a cute chick with bad breath. It was just okay. If they tweak a few things it will be a good show. The major problem is that its on the speed channel. I will watch again and see what happens.

First let me say that I LOVE Adam Carolla, movie/radio/live. Adam told us himself, "Stay with us, it will get better!" I hope so as it was Adam and the WSJ guy talking and John Salley sitting there. He is too tall to fit into a Corolla. Don't know how he can do it. Overall out of 5, I'd give it a 2. Some of the scenes they taped on location were too short. The "Lemons Grand Prix" was actually funny but it was on less than 10 min. Same with the car vs plane. I think it will get better, but now I can see why BBC removed Carolla as the host of Top Gear USA. It is a much better, well-done clone of the British version (which is one of the best shows on TV). Adam Carolla is light years away from Clarkson.

I thought the casts better meshed than the casts of top gear USA. It didn't seem so scripted, especially with the jokes toward each other. IT was more polished.

I watched the first few episodes of Top Gear usa and it was a joke so I have given up. Basically, its a poor reproduction of past Britain's top gear episodes but with a boring cast (yawn)...nothing original. Haven't seen this but will. however, I can't imagine anything would be worse than top gear usa.
